New P&O house and Docks

Our docks and storage shed at the lake have been neglected for as long as I can remember and I believe it is time to fix this tragedy. If more than two scouts step on one section the whole section submerges underwater. This is a photo of the docks that were painted last year, as you can see it does not look good.


This is our paddle and oar house. A few years ago, Rich Benini helped us to straighten the building because it was about to fall over. Inside there is barely enough room to move let alone store all the equipment. As well the sketchiest set of stairs that has ever been allowed in a boy scout camp.


Here is the plan: To buy lumber and flotation aids to create an entire (and safe) new dock. 
There are two sections to our current teaching area, the plan would be to move the roof over one section to the right and create out of the left section a lookout two story high P&O house. I believe that this improvement to the waterfront will directly translate to a safer and better program for the scouts as well as a more organized and efficient staff.
