New Paltz Pride Day Celebration

The 2022 Hudson Valley Pride Day is coming to New Paltz on Sunday, June 5th with a march and festive parade, plus plenty of fun! This will be the largest Pride gathering in the area and we hope you can join us. All that excitement produces bills and a way to pay for it. So we are raising funds to help cover the costs of holding this wonderful celebration. Our budget is by no means extravagant, but no less in need of dollar support.

 

Permits: $1000

Sound Production: $800 - $1400

Port-a-Potties: $TBD (it cost about $650 in the past)

Water & snacks: $whatever funds are leftover after the above are covered!

 

The event begins at noon on New Paltz’s Main Street, followed by a festival in Hasbrouck Park from 1:30pm until 5:00 pm.

 

Organized by the newly-formed Hudson Valley Pride Coalition consisting of various local organizations and community groups as well as local government entities and local elected officials, we have room for all who are interested in participating in this year’s Pride planning.
