New Lungs for Eveline!

Hey y'all!
Our mom, Eveline, has suffered from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) for nearly 20 years now. COPD is a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs. In the last year we have seen a rapid decline in her ability to function as a result of increased difficulty to breath. She has went from occasionally using her breathing machine to now 24/7 use of a breathing machine. This fall she was referred to Duke University Hospital to see if she'd be a candidate for a lung transplant. She had her orientation and they concluded she was an eligible candidate for a double lung transplant! We are extremely happy to hear she will have a chance at a better and longer life. A life where she can do simple things such as easily take a breath of fresh air, take a shower or brush her teeth without being exhausted, cook for her family (she loves to cook!), and get out to go couponing (she was once a couponing machine!).
So, we are gearing up for the double lung transplant! She and my sister, who's her full time caregiver, will have to temporarily move to Durham, NC to be close to Duke University Hospital. As you know, living expenses are high. In addition to needing assistance with living expenses, we also need help with medical expenses. She is covered under her health insurance but we still need help with coinsurances, deductibles, and prescription costs.
