House fire- New house for AJA and her 6 children.

  My younger sister aja lives in Gambia with her young children. On Tuesday the 10th,  a tragedy struck. Aja’s whole house burnt down and sadly her youngest son - 3 year old dawda) perished and died in the fire. Aja now has no home and she is having to deal with the trauma of loosing one of her children. She is living in a small one bedroom house with the rest of her kids (6 of them) and her husband. She is suffering. Aja also sadly lost her mother back in August. A tragedy that hit her and our whole family. Her mother lived with her and she looked after her until the day she passed away. Aja is a kind and hard working woman. She works as a police office in Gambia, earning about D2000 gambian currency every month (which comes to about £31 pounds) she does everything she can to make sure she can provide her kids with the best possible life and to make sure they have food on the table. 


We as a family are trying to raise money to build
Aja and her 6 children a new home. We would     have to buy material and completely new furniture for them. We appreciate any amount of donation.

Raising this money will not bring back Dawda,    but it would put a roof over her and her childrens head
