NHCA urgently needs your support.
The amazing Mr.Prosh continues to provide English education to the most disadvantaged children and young adults in his village. The school can only continue to exist with our help. Currently the school has 2 months of funding to continue it's great work. The school also provides food for the children who often go without.
Who are we?
NHCA was registered as an official NGO in Cambodia in 2013. The school was commenced by Mr. Prosh in 2009 in his home and has evolved to be a multi-classroom school with more 300 students.
What do we do?
We operate a school (free of charge) for children and young adults from very poor backgrounds teaching them English, computers literacy, art, sewing and other life skills to improve their chances of gaining further education and or work.
Where do we work?
Our school is located in the Krobi Riel Commune of Roka village, 20 minutes from Siem Reap in Cambodia,which is famous for the Angkor Wat temple ruins.
What is our goal?
That all children of this community can receive a basic education and training so they can break the cycle of poverty
Why is your help needed?
Without your help, this vital school will be unable to continue providing free education and training to some of the most disadvantaged children in Cambodia. In some cases this is the only education they may have access to. Often the public school system costs are out of reach for this community.
How is your money spent?
Your much needed donations will help pay for: Teachers wages, Internet, Resources, including stationary materials, fabric for sewing classes and food for the children, Electricity and other needs.
How much is needed:
$12000 per year funds the school to provide education for up to 300 children and young adults:
Teachers wages per month make up the bulk of this funding and the rest is overhead costs such as WiFi, electricity and food.
