New Hope for Cambodian Children

Donation protected
In January, six pre-service teachers are off to Cambodia, as part of our studies. At the New Hope International School we will teach English and learn to manage culturally diverse classrooms to gain better practical skills, before we head into classrooms of our own.

The school gives opportunities to more than 270 HIV positive children, who have been orphaned or abandoned. The school teaches a range of subjects, including both English and Khmer, and as teacher’s assistants, we will be bringing our skills to the classroom for a few weeks.

We’re aiming to raise $1500 for the school before we go. For every $500 raised, a child’s university education for one semester is paid. As university students, and teachers in training, we understand the transformative power of education, and we’re looking for your support to help us reach our important goal.

You can find out more information about the school at www.newhopeforcambodianchildren.org.

Please note that 100% of the money raised will be given to the New Hope International School as a donation. No part of this money will be used for our own travel, accomodation or other expences. Thank you for your kind donation.
