New Home for Ted.

Hi Everybody, Back in the middle of 2015, my beautiful parter Ted had 2 rounds of bronchitis, & a couple of chest & viral infections. He never quiet got over them. From the start of October 2015 to the middle of November, Ted has in hospital on 5 separate occasions. He was passing out, convulsing & short of breath. He was diagnosed with Chronic Heart Failure. He became very ill & was at a higher risk of having a heart & attack & never coming back from it. In early January 2016, he was back in hospital after passing out again & was then told he needed to have a pacemaker. After geting the pacemaker in, his life improved 110%. Life had been going great until September 2017 when he came down with flu like symptons. After going to his Dr's, Ted was on 2 rounds of strong antibotics. After about 3 weeks, Ted was no better. I convinced Ted to go to hospital in the early hours of 11th October 2017. At hospital they said they think he has the flu but, it's looking much more than that ie cancer.  After about 3 weeks of been in hospital the Dr's were telling us he has stage 4 cancer & that what ever the cancer it is (they were still looking into the type of cancer it is at this stage) he didn't have long to live. The next day Dr's were diagnosing Ted with Stage 4 Germ Cell Based tumors. It's a very rare cancer & affects mostly woman. It's very aggressive. Luckily, it's treatable with chemotherapy. So Ted was started on Chemotherapy the next day. The tumors are shrinking & Ted's responding well to treatment. Cause Ted's mobility & health is now comprised, we are now in urgent need of a newer home. Our current home is a 1960's Ex-Commission home & is very crowded, small, poor ventiolation (mould grows easily on our windows & bathroom), narrow & tight. It is depressing & overwhelming with what needs to be fixed to the house. Cause of Ted's current & future health needs, we are in desparate need of a newer home that has wider halls, open space, ramps, handles/safety grip rails, overhead hoist, bigger bathroom, & potentially a wheelchair friendly home. We necessarily dont want to leave where we live but, would love to have a newer home. Moving is a big part of this newer home. We dont know how long Ted will be with us so I want him to be as comfortable & at home for as long as possible. I am currently not working & not receving any income. Not even centrelink. I've eaten into my savings & now there is no more. Ted is a Ex-Ford employee. We are surving off his redunacy package. This situation wont last us forever! We're needing help around the house due to Ted not being able to do the handyman stuff he usually is capable of doing. The situation is very very urgent to us as we've came to realise just how short your life can be & our home has been taken for granted due to our previous needs. We would love to seek out any donations & help of any kind.
