New heart-New Start

Brandt received his new heart on 10/8/17 and it took its first beat at 2:55am that day! We are forever grateful to his donor.  Because he received this life saving gift in Dallas we are required to stay in Dallas for the first few months and continue all his follow up here for at least the first year.  We have been on this journey for over 18 months. After 3 months in the hospital in 2016 and then crazy life with the LVAD we are feeling very blessed.  The blessings we have received are amazing and we will be grateful all the days of our lives.  
The reality is the expenses at this time are enormous and we could use some help.  We try always not to ask, but Brandt is so worth it!  Thanks for the prayers! ♻️❤️ #Hearttransplant #Donatelife
