Gay Rights Memorial

In The United States we love our memorials and statues. We have them for everyone and everything. We however do not have one for the LGBTQ+ community. We should have one to celebrate our victories and to remember our fallen. To remember those killed for wanting an equal chance at the American Dream, an equal life.

We should remember our brothers abd sisters who fought for us, died for us. And did so while being told they weren't good enough, being throw out of the Armed Forces for being themselves. They served for a nation that hated and rejected them. Giving their time, and sometimes their life while hiding their truth, for fear of discharge. All while at times being hunted like criminals by their own nation, by their fellow soldiers.
