New Garden for Broughdale Grandma

Donation protected
Bess, affectionately known as the Broughdale Grandma, has lived on the street since the 60's. She's seen many homecomings, but for the first time this Saturday, students walked onto her yard and trampled her flowers. She's very upset because the garden was planted by her late husband. She had also hoped to attract birds and butterflies to her yard as they migrate south, but the flowers have been killed as students passed through.

As her neighbors, we wanted to help out. We're going to buy flowers and shrumbs, and replant Bess' garden to make it even more beautiful than before! We will also be installing a fence around her garden to prevent this from happening again next year. If you came to Broughdale last Saturday, consider donating $5 or sharing this link. We will be planting on Thursday October 5th at 3pm (bring shovels and gloves if you have them). Message me for the address! We will walk over to Bess' house and plant the flowers for her. I've already talked to her and she's very grateful to accept this gift from the student body. Let's show the London community that the students that did this do not represent us!
