New Fostering to Adopt Family

For the past few years my husband and I have been trying to have children. We have been unsuccessful. We will still explore our last medical option , but we don't want to wait for the "maybes" and "somedays" to happen. We always wanted a family and so have decided to foster kids with the idea of also adopting. Unlike when you get pregnant, and you prepare for your baby's arrival, and have a baby shower or two, we are going from zero to one to three kids in our household without much preparation. ( We plan on taking a Sibling Group from ages 6 weeks to 9 years. ) What we would really like to do is set up basic living arrangements for the children. We are raising money to purchase bunk beds and mattresses to accommodate young children, and multi-age car seats that go from infant to 110 lb. We typically buy a lot of things used (we already have a used crib and dressers), but we feel that a solid bunk bed set with new mattresses and new car seats are the best option. We know that there will be a lot of other expenses that we will make adjustments for later on, in addition to changes in our family routines. But any donations that we receive will help cover the costs for these items we know we must have in the beginning in order to accommodate foster children.
