New Car for School Teacher

Jara Childs is a first year, 3rd grade teacher in Decatur, Georgia. She has always been passionate about working with children, finding herself consistently involved in the education of young minds. Whether at church, in summer camps or with various after school programs, Jara has gravitated toward any opportunity that would allow her to help the growth of students, all throughout her life.

As many of you know, teachers across the country are typically under resourced, and surprise expenses such as a car dying can (and do) cause significant financial stress. Jara happens to be in this exact situation, and has elected to walk to work while she is saving the funds to fix her vehicle.

So, for our sister's/daughter's/friend's 24th birthday, Jara's family is soliciting the help of the crowdfunding community to surprise her with the funds for a new vehicle.
