WHERE I AM AT CURRENTLY:
I am currently writing my third and most important book, The Healing of the Masculine and Feminine, which takes a look at the divine masculine and feminine as energies within all of us, as well as the cultural conditioning we’ve each received based on the physiological gender we embody in this life. The book explains the differences and interplay between the masculine and feminine as energies and shows the reader how to best work with them in order to restore harmony and balance for themselves as well as the world as a whole.
Here is a very short article I wrote on the concept as well as an excerpt from the introduction that I believe do a good job of explaining why I wrote this book and what I’m trying to achieve through its message:

How Understanding the Difference between Masculine and Feminine Energies Can Help You Feel More Balanced
Did you know that everything on the earth is made up of both masculine and feminine qualities?
Whether we are male or female on the outside, we all have both masculine and feminine aspects on the inside that need to be in balance in order for us to function at our highest capacity as both spiritual and physical beings.
Before I go on, let’s take a brief look at the qualities of each of the energies so they are easier to understand. Masculine energies include the aspects of order, logic, structure, and the act of making things physically manifest. Feminine energies govern such things as relationships, gestation, creativity, and nature.
Masculine and feminine energies need to be balanced in all areas of life in order for us to thrive as multidimensional beings in a physical world. In order to bring our dreams, desires, relationships, and projects into physical form so we can benefit from them, we must harness them within the feminine energies first, and then use the masculine energies. An easy example would be to look at the act of writing a piece of music. The composer must enter the feminine energy of the creative field first in order to hear the melody and lyrics, if there are any. After opening themselves up to the creative forces, they must then use the masculine energies of physical form and structure in order to write their creation down in a way that others can understand and reproduce if necessary. Even if the composer does not write down their composition, there must be some use of the masculine energies in order for others to hear their music. Whether recording the piece or performing to an audience, the masculine energy of using recording equipment to capture the art, or the deliberate act to invite people to experience it live must be performed.
The distortion and lack of understanding of these principles throughout our history in Western society has largely contributed to our feelings of being out of alignment with ourselves. Whether we are male or female on the outside, rejecting the other energy either inside or outside of ourselves leaves us less than whole. If we are women and reject males as a whole, we are rejecting the inner masculine, necessary for our true union within ourselves and all creation. Likewise, if our culture rejects the feminine either through abuse or suppression of women or rejecting feminine representations of society such as nature or spiritual ideas and concepts, we will always be searching for our other half.
In short, in order to be balanced and whole, it is important to understand and integrate both the masculine and feminine principles into all aspects of our lives. Once we can achieve this, our relationships will be healthier, our creations will be more useful, and we will live in balance with our planet and each other, while continuing to create amazing, beautiful, and useful things to enhance the quality of life for all of us.
Book Excerpt from the Introduction:
“…Is it possible that the original fall into duality (symbolized here by the grand polarities of masculine and feminine) has left us fearful and distrustful of ourselves and each other, and out of touch with the state of grace, or Love, that is the key to our oneness as a universe? Has every story of creation and how it became divided into polarities been encoded into our DNA, forever affecting us—or is it possible to create our future consciously, by choosing to evolve past duality into oneness and harmony?"
Serendipitously, the book is poised to come out at about the same time as my TED X talk on a similar topic, scheduled for the end of August at TED X-Wilson Park in Florence, Alabama.
Though I have published two other books and speak on a variety of topics, I believe that this book contains my most important work, supported by the words of the doctoral dissertation committee in the notes left on my paper (it began as a book years ago, morphed into my dissertation for my Doctorate in Holistic Life Coaching, and is now being turned back into a book) suggesting that I had a “best seller on my hands.”
