Rukus to Relief!

My name is Daniel Barousse,

I am a skateboarder at my core and have been for the last 22 years. One of my other passions in life is bike riding and I specifically love long bike rides. I’m doing this 476 mile ride from Rukus Skateshop in Lafayette, LA to Relief Skate Supply in Panama City, FL to raise money to give kids free skateboards. Rukus, Relief, Element Skateboards, RedBull, Miss Rebas, and Priority Bikes are all sponsoring my ride and are all in full support of spreading joy to underprivileged kids who may not be able to afford their first skateboard. Skateboarding changed my life in the best possible way. It was the one thing that I loved enough to keep me out of the bad stuff in life and gave me the freedom to truly be myself. If I can offer that freedom and that love to even one kid by way of a free skateboard, then my mission on this earth is complete and this 500 mile ride will be worth every struggle.
