Hello my name is LaDonna, This is something I never thought I would do, but desperate times calls for desperate measures. I’m trying to get my son and I moved back home where family is. My job isn’t working me to where I can’ save up the amount we need to get from here (Florida) to there (Texas). We moved here to Florida ten years ago with my mother whom passed away back here in 2021 from Pancreatic cancer. Which left my son and I here alone. It was like my whole world just fell from beneath me. I been trying ever since to try and move back, but it’s been a Financial struggle since. This yr 2025, has been more crazy than the previous. I Lost my Dad a week after my birthday. It was a struggle to get from here there. No I didn’t make it to his funeral but I had the chance to see my bonus mom and bonus siblings. Everything was heartbreaking to leave. Mind you by the time I returned to Florida, My apartment’s had gotten a new owner and management as well as a 300 dollar rent raise. I’m basically at my wits end of a nervous breakdown of trying to move us back home. My job is Parking lot/ Pool Attendant. I work when occupancy and the weather permits me to. Unfortunately my job isn’t working me to where I can save and survive daily for us. I was told my pride was so called to good to ask for help, but it’s not. Embarrassing.. yes but never to good to ask for Help especially now. The funds will help with U-Haul rental and gas. Anything close to what I’m asking for would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
