Neurosurgeon visits

Update; Leah will need brain surgery in 2-3 months. The tumour is sitting at a level 2 or 3, which is right in the middle of benign or super aggressive. Surgeon said its urgent, but not an emergency, which basically means she needs the surgery but not today but not next year.



This fundraiser is for my sister Leah. She is one of the kindest, soft hearted people I know. She's shy, but full of life when she gets to know you. She loves playing video games, drawing, and all around just being a typical teenager. She is 18 on the 27th of september. 

Two days ago she got an MRI and yesterday we received the results. She has a large mass in her brain that has caused a seizure, headaches, and other things. She has been referred to a neurosurgeon and should be seeing them very soon as the doctor said its urgent. 

We do not have 100% certainty, but it looks like she has an aggressive form of brain cancer. She is going to need to go to vancouver on multiple different occasions. My mom will be going with her no doubt. My mom will have to take time off work to take care of her baby. The trips alone are going to cost a lot. Hotels, food, the list is endless. 

My hope is to start raising money to help my family now, as this is going to be hard on us. 

For those of you that know me, I never ask for help, but we need it. My mom needs to be able to take whatever time off she needs to take care of her daughter. And I hope we cab raise enough to make her not have to worry about money as she has more then enough to worry about right now.
