10000ft SkyDive for Cancer

In April 2016 my Aunt Kay was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer..less than a year later we laid her to rest.

My Aunt Kay fought a silent and admirable fight until the end, which she never believed was coming so soon. Whilst undergoing chemotherapy she developed an infection, like so many others. Her body was weak from the disease and the treatment and she was unable to fight any longer.

A month ago we were challenged at work to 'Give Something Back' and straight away I thought of My Aunt Kay. She had never asked anything from anyone in her life but in her last days she wanted the family to donate to the many charities that she believed had helped her along the way : Cancer Research, Macmillan, St Josephs Hospice, the list goes on.

I shared my thoughts with my colleagues and was overwhelmed when they stupidly!!! agreed that a skydive fundraiser was a great way to 'Give Something Back' and that they were all happy to join me and support the cause.

On Saturday 19th August Sam, Serena (whom we don't have a pic of yet as she is the only person in the world who doesn't do social media!), Sarah, Ukay and myself will be flying 10,000ft through the air. Before then we really need to raise as much money as possible to be donated to Cancer related charities of our choice.

This Fund Page will allow us to keep you updated on our progress and provide a safe place for all donations to be made. We are grateful of every single penny that will be donated or any support you may be able to offer over the next few weeks.
