Nestor Samson Sr. Funeral

Dear friends,

Hope all is well with you and that you are keeping safe, healthy and well.

By now, most of you may be are aware of the recent passing of Nestor Francisco Samson Sr., who is the father of Chyrell Samson-Ronquilo.  He passed away on October 23, 2020 at 12:30pm (12:30 am EST).

Unfortunately, his passing came unexpected; he had suffered a Cardiac Arrest in the Ambulance he was being transported in, en route to the hospital's emergency ward. He was experiencing a number health issues the morning prior to rush to the hospital.

Grieving for Chyrell and the family has been mixed with a lot of challenges.  Funeral preparations have also taken a toll on her and the family (considering the time differences for coordination.)  There are unexpected (expensive) costs.  There were also some complications because of the pandemic.  She is also in the process of preparing for her flight to the Philppines,  so she can say her final goodbye to her beloved father.  There are numerous complications that have led to stress during these circumstances. 

The current pandemic has made the greiving process very difficult and frustrating.  Quarantines are required for the travellers and are handled differently.  This would mean that part of her trip would require that  she stay an extra few days in a selected facility or hotel, in order to fulfill these requirements by law.   This also includes local quarantines, especially upon return to Toronto, in which she will be required to stay home from work.

The entire situation has been very stressful for her, and at times almost to the point of emotional breakdown.  It has taken a toll on her.

All she wants, is to see her beloved father one last time and have a final farewell for him.

Chyrell has been doing whatever she can, but the financial costs are more than what was expected and will be a double-burden.    I myself am also helping her out to the very best I can as well.  We are already learning how difficult and expensive a funeral can be during a pandemic, plus the mounting of stress induced with new international  travel requirements.

Any help to cover the cost of the funeral and any unexpected costs will be appreciated.
