Nessy’s Cancer Fund

My name is Janess Hoover Flores Pivac. I go by Nessy as my Dads nickname for me “Messy Nessy”. I have Serous Adenocarcinoma Ovarian Cancer Stage IV.
My first round of chemo was covered by Insurance. When it returned I didn’t have the same coverage because we started our S.S. with our income higher.
The Affordable Care made premiums go up to $3,000 a month. So we tried other coverage with several other Insurance companies not knowing what we were doing. Chemo infusions are $25,000 a session and more. So Sky Lakes sent us a bill that went to $145,000! They wanted $4,000 a month for 36 months is what they gave us to pay then sent us to collections!
Medical Bankruptcy still wouldn’t help because Lawyer wanted $3,000 a month in 3 years paid!
So our home was the only way out to borrow on. Bank payments are high but not what the hospital or lawyers want.
When I’m gone my pension $ to pay off the bank will be gone. My husband Michael will be left to handle this with only his S.S. to live on and no home.
My husband and I started out on our new lives together in 2011 after reuniting in 2010.
High School Sweethearts meeting again after my first husband died of brain cancer. My children had to hear CANCER for the second time!
