Hi my name is Wendy I am helping my friend Jess to raise funds to get her beloved family pet cremated and brought home. Here is her story.

This is missy. We got her as a family nearly 6 years ago from someone who didn't want her. She was used for breeding and treated badly before coming to us. She was never shown any love and didn't know how to play before we taught her. After having her 2nd season in her life, she ended up having a womb infection and needed to have everything removed. As we she was older, then we were told she had 3 heart attacks during surgery and dying both times. Luckily, she was able to be revived. Insurance companies didn't want to know, or if they did, it would have cost an arm and a leg to insure.
Missy had bowed back legs from being kept in cupboards on the breeding farm, which lead into arthritis in later life. This then caused her struggle to walk too far.
Missys favourite people foods were things that she shouldn't have been eating which caused her to have fits. These were hard to deal with, and we had to get baby gates on the kitchen and stairs just to keep her safe.
Sunday night, missys breathing went funny so she was taken to an emergency vets to find out she had fluid on her lungs she had heart failure.
I made the decision to have her put to sleep as for missy this was the roght decision to make. She was roughly 15 and had a few health conditions and it wasn't roght to try and prolong her life for 12 months just to keep her for selfish reasons.
Missy is coming home but for that we need to get her cremated which alone will cost £570. Plus extra for the urn. This is on top of the fees for the vets
