Nerja Skydive 30th October 2021

Hello everyone. My name is Val Thom and for the last 3 years i have been a volunteer with Nerja Solidaria.

Nerja Solidaria is a volunteer run charity providing food and help for vulnerable families here in Nerja. We can at times have more than 100 families to care for. On a regular basis we get our food donations from Bancosol in Malaga but that is only food. We rely on local donations to help us with toiletries and baby items such as nappies and baby milk and also to keep the charity running. With the pandemic situation this has been a very difficult time for us as you can imagine.

Last year at Christmas the local expat community pulled together to help me give our families a bit of festive cheer. Together we gave 110 families each a hamper containing lots of goodies and a gift and sweets to each child.

This year our fundraising has taken a different turn in the way of some very brave people doing a skydive !!

So on Saturday 30th of October 2021 we will be heading to Cordoba Skydive Centre!!! Each person will be paying for their own jump so that all the money will go directly to the charity.

Please help us to give our familes a good Christmas this year and to give Nerja Solidaria some much needed funds so that they can keep doing the amazing work that they do.
