Dear New England Playaz, New England Playaz Academy, and Mass Commanders Families and Friends,
The 2016 Spring AAU season is HERE!! As you have heard the Mass Commanders are now the New England Playaz Academy. The New England Playaz 8th ELITE team will travel to -and make strong runs in- Houston, TX (2nd Place), New England (3 Championships), Saratoga Springs, NY (May 28-29), and Las Vegas, NVJuly 18-24). 8th ELITE also has already qualified to play at the AAU Nationals in Greensboro, NC, or Kissimmee, FL. July 2016 due to their 5th place Nationals finish in July 2015.
We are writing to you to seek your support for team travel. We want to make sure all our kids have the opportunity to join the team during our out-of-state trips. Not only do the kids benefit by playing competitive teams from around the country, they also spend important time together as peers, visit new places, and learn responsibility for time management, taking care of their bodies, and making good social decisions. Overall, it’s a tremendously valuable learning and team bonding experience. Please consider a donation of any amount to support the team’s travel. Making a donation is quick, all online, and secure.
