Nephew needs a place for his 3 kids

Im Heather. I’m starting this campaign for my nephew Chris and his three kids Owen, Lilly, and Evan.  

They are such wonderful kids and I’m so proud of the job Chris has been doing with them. That’s why I am trying to secure their future by reaching out to the good people of the internet. Chris is in a bad spot financially due to a divorce he’s currently going through. 

Im a foster mom, my goal in life is to help kids, please help me help my nephews kids!

Hello my name is Chris, some of you may know me as 8BitVillain, and I have three wonderful little kids that mean the world to me. I’m not dying, nobody has cancer, we are just in a really shitty situation.

We currently need help! Desperately! I can’t worry about pride at this point.

Here is the situation.

Things between my wife and I have gone sour, and she wants me out of her life. I’ll no doubt be forced from my home, and I won’t have a place for me and my kids. I’m what is considered the primary care taker of our children. Basically I’m a stay at home dad, but I still work two nights a week on top of raising the kids. So I have a more than 50/50 chance that they end up with me, and that’s what is best for them as I am their whole life. I do everything for them. They are more attached to me.

Here is why we need help. Because I’m a stay at home dad, my wife has all the money, control of all the few assets we do have, I’ll be left with almost nothing. The house isn’t going to be sold because it was just purchased a year ago and the value has actually gone down, so there is no money in it. Both vehicles are leased in her name, and I have nothing of my own that has any value. I’ll need to lease or buy my own car.

After doing some research, I found that a first time home buyer (my name isn’t on the house) would almost always qualify for a certain kind of loan with a super low interest rate. Here is the problem, I’d still need to come up with a down payment. Or even an apartment would be fine for us for a while. I’d need a 3 bedroom place, a room for myself. One for Lilly and another for the 2 boys to share. I’d still need money to move out. :(


So here is what I’m asking, we need money to start our lives over and allow me to provide them a good affordable home within a good school system, I’d love to stay in the school system we are already in. All funds received will go into a trusted family members savings account and I will not touch a single penny of it until we have found a place, then all of that money will be used as a down payment. Meanwhile, I’ll be selling anything that’s worth more than $50, and picking up more shifts wherever I can find a sitter. If we go over the goal, the remaining funds would be used for needed furniture, food, and clothing.

Please help! We really need it, but I realize you may have your own family and responsibilities. If you can’t donate, that’s fine! We appreciate the fact that you read this and would love for you to share it, if you feel it’s worthy.

I’m ready for all the negativity this may or may not create. It’s fine, I’ll take all of that for my kids. I’ll do anything for them, and I swear on my life that I will pay this forward some how, some way, when there is someone in need. I have always donated to Fgc campaigns and many other gamers in need, as well as people who’s pets had needed things as generously as I could. Please, help us. I promise to provide regular updates to the campaign and let you all know how things are going.

I’d do anything for my kids and here I am doing this. For them.
