Relief for queer trans healthcare worker

Neppy (they/them) is a queer, trans, nonbinary Latinx healthcare worker. They worked with people experiencing homelessness in Boston who are also living with HIV.

Neppy is an amazing advocate for patients and coworkers alike. Here are some examples of some of the things that Neppy has done: they single-handedly organized volunteers who assisted in producing PPE for our coworkers, they greatly contributed to improving equitable hiring practices, co-founded an internal book club among staff which is determined to study the Black liberation movement and anti-blackness in healthcare, and most importantly they love their patients and coworkers immensely. It is unfair for anyone to lose their job during such a ravaging global pandemic. 

Funds will go toward assisting Neppy with rent, groceries and living expenses meanwhile they are waiting to start Nurse Practitioner school next Fall. They will make an amazing provider in the near future.
