<div>Severe monsoon flooding has caused extensive damage across Kathmandu valley and eastern Nepal. The impact has been particularly devastating in Bhokraha Rural Municipality (Wards 4 and 5) and Barahakshetra Municipality, where hundreds of families have lost their homes, farmland, and essential belongings. The floods have destroyed local infrastructure, disrupted livelihoods, and created serious risks for health and safety.

<div>Our field team reports that many families are now without adequate shelter or basic necessities. Immediate needs include temporary tents, tarpaulins, bedding, and essential household materials. The situation remains fluid, and further rainfall may worsen conditions in the coming days. This fundraiser seeks to provide urgent relief assistance to the most affected families within these municipalities. All contributions will go directly toward the purchase and distribution of emergency supplies to ensure safe shelter and restore a sense of stability for displaced families.
