 This fundraiser is organized by Nepali Speaking Church of Baltimore, a Nepali Christian church serving the Nepali community in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Many members of our congregation and community are originally from Nepal and have families, relatives, friends, and strong community ties throughout the country.

 We are raising these funds in response to the devastating flooding affecting communities in Nepal. We are not raising funds for any specific individual or family.

 All net funds received from this GoFundMe campaign will be transferred by Nepali Speaking Church of Baltimore to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund of Nepal through the Embassy of Nepal in Washington, D.C. The funds will therefore be provided through the official Government of Nepal disaster-relief channel to support emergency relief and recovery efforts for communities affected by the flooding.
