 <strong>The flooding and debris have taken lives, damaged or destroyed homes, roads, bridges, power systems, hydropower facilities, and other essential infrastructure.</strong> Many families in remote Himalayan communities have been left facing an urgent need for shelter, food, clean water, medical assistance, and other basic necessities.
