Our last hope now is a trial for immunotherapy that has shown promissing results. However, Neo's current health insurance plan does not cover the cost and she must upgrade her plan to be able to participate in this trial. The new plan will cost U$ 623 montly. Without it, we need to deposit a security of U$100,000 in order to participate in the trial. We need your help more than ever! Please donate to our campaing and give us the hope for a cure!

But who is Neo?
Neotides (Neo) is a grandmother to three beautiful girls (9, 7, and 4). She cherishes her two daughters, Teresa and Julia, and she has a genuine love for nature and all forms of life.
Neo is currently fighting an advanced and very aggressive form of colon cancer while keeping her spirits up. Having the odds stacked against her, she is determined to to fight this war with all of her strength.
While Neo focuses on staying strong, her family has been doing its best to provide for her. Her daughter Teresa moved back to Alexandria to care for Neo, leaving behind her job in Seattle and her admission to start grad school this fall in France. Her daughter Julia spent three months in the U.S. allowing Neo to spend an amazing time with her granddaughters during their school vacation.
With mounting medical bills that were not covered by health insurance and having had to set up a home for all of them in Alexandria, the family is coming up short on their financial needs. All funds collected will go towards medical and living expenses.
Having known their family for several years, I know that friends can always count on them. They are always ready to assist those in need, and needing assistance is something new to them. Please consider helping these amazing women fight this terrible disease.

Neotides é a avó de 3 meninas com 9, 7 e 4 anos, e é a mãe de duas mulheres, Teresa e Julia. A vida dessa avó virou de pernas para o ar após um inesperado diagnóstico de um agressivo cancer de intestino. Ao se submeter a uma cirurgia de emergência, o plano não cobriu os cirurgiões plantonistas por serem desvinculados ao plano. Aliado a isso, sua filha Teresa largou tudo em Seattle, e o sonho de estudar na França com uma bolsa de estudos, para cuidar da mãe em tempo integral, com a saúde muito debilitada.
As dívidas aumentam a cada dia, e no estado da Virgínia onde vivem, as dívidas médicas são repassadas aos herdeiros, mesmo se não houver patrimônio para cobrir as dívidas.
