<div>Nemesis, an elite competitive cheerleading team at Twisted Cheer and Dance, have  worked tirelessly to be awarded a chance to compete on the biggest stage in Cheerleading.

<div>They travelled to Sweden in May 2023 and were rewarded by gaining a bid to attend a prestigious competition. This elite competition is for the best teams in the world and you must win entry and be invited to attend. This is a fantastic achievement for the  teams that won entry and is only the second time our programme has won the chance to attend this competition in the 10 years we have been a competitive programme.

<div>Allstar Cheerleading is one of the UK’s fastest growing sports and involves Tumbling, Stunting, Jumps and Dance, all packed into a two and a half minute routine. It is very fast paced and exciting sport with a performance element. Cheerleading has been granted full Olympic Status, which is a huge milestone for our sport and we should see it in the Olympics soon.

<div>​As with all amateur sports, competing at this level is expensive and athletes are entirely self-funding. As a non-profit organisation, we are fundraising across our community to help contribute to travel and uniform costs​ as well as other expenses. 
</div>

<div>We are reaching out to local businesses and the community to support these athletes through sponsorship and donations. We are hoping to raise £15,000 and would appreciate any support you can offer.
