<div>I never thought I’d be writing something like this. But my daughter has been given an opportunity I simply can’t let slip away, and we can’t fully finance it on our own. So I’m doing what’s hardest for me: I’m asking for help.

<div>Nelly is 15 years old and the German federal champion in rope skipping. This title is the result of years of discipline and dedication.

<div>Behind it are years of training, countless repetitions, falling down and getting back up, and a determination that I’ve watched grow since she was a child. At the same time, she’s one of the top students at her school. She has fought hard for every step along the way.

<div>In December, Nelly will travel to Ecuador to take on the leading role in an international short film that our family is helping to produce.
</div>

</div>
<div>The short film is the heart of this project and will be filmed in some of the country's most breathtaking natural landscapes. In places that are so unique and fascinating that they almost seem unreal. One of these special filming locations is the Equator, the center of the Earth.

<div>The film itself is not about rope skipping. But it is precisely the qualities that Nelly has developed through her sport, discipline, endurance, and presence, that have opened this extraordinary opportunity for her.

<div>In addition to the filming, we will use the trip to produce unique rope-

<div>skipping reels at some of Ecuador's most spectacular locations.
</div>
<div>Alongside the short film, this will create special footage that showcases Nelly's sport in an extraordinary setting and is meant to inspire people all over the world.

<div>For Nelly, this project is an opportunity to grow on an international level, take part in a professional film production, and at the same time share her passion for rope skipping with the world in a truly special way.

<div><strong>This is not a vacation.</strong>
</div>
<div>It will be two intensive weeks of filming, traveling between different filming locations, following a demanding production schedule, creating the rope-skipping reels, and documenting the entire journey for everyone who follows her.
</div>
<div>We are traveling as a family. Nelly's dad and I will be with her the entire time. She is only 15years old, so nothing else would even be an option for us.
</div>

<div>This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but unfortunately, so are the costs.

<div>The three flights in December alone are expensive, and Ecuador is more expensive than many people expect.

<div>We simply can’t finance this on our own.

<div>That’s why I’m here today.

<li>GoFundMe deducts a payment processing fee of about 3%. Aside from that, every euro goes toward the costs listed above.

<li>If we raise more than our fundraising goal, any remaining funds will be used entirely to support Nelly´s continued development and the realization of future projects.

<li>If we don´t reach our fundraising goal in full, all donations received will still go entirely toward the project. We will cover the remaining amount ourselves.

<div>Der Kurzfilm ist das Herzstück dieses Projekts und wird an einigen der atemberaubendsten Naturlandschaften des Landes gedreht. An Orten, die so einzigartig und faszinierend sind, dass sie beinahe unwirklich erscheinen. Einer dieser besonderen Drehorte ist der Äquator, der Mittelpunkt der Erde.

<div>Der Film selbst handelt nicht von Rope Skipping. Doch genau die Eigenschaften, die Nelly durch ihren Sport entwickelt hat, Disziplin, Ausdauer und Präsenz, haben ihr diese außergewöhnliche Möglichkeit eröffnet.

<div>Zusätzlich zu den Dreharbeiten werden wir die Reise nutzen, um an einigen der spektakulärsten Orte Ecuadors einzigartige Rope-Skipping-Reels zu produzieren. So entstehen neben dem Kurzfilm besondere Aufnahmen, die Nellys Sport in einer außergewöhnlichen Kulisse zeigen und Menschen auf der ganzen Welt inspirieren sollen.

<div>Es sind zwei intensive Wochen mit Dreharbeiten, Reisen zwischen verschiedenen Drehorten, einem anspruchsvollen Produktionsplan, der Produktion der Rope-Skipping-Reels und die Dokumentation der gesamten Reise für alle, die ihr folgen.

<div>Wir reisen als Familie. Nellys Papa und ich werden die ganze Zeit bei ihr sein. Sie ist erst 15 Jahre alt, daher käme für uns nichts anderes infrage.

<div>Ein privater Förderer, der an Nelly glaubt, hat bereits <strong>10.000 €</strong> beigesteuert. Damit ist bereits mehr als die Hälfte geschafft.

<div>Jetzt geht es darum, den verbleibenden Betrag gemeinsam zu finanzieren.

<div><strong>Das Kleingedruckte ganz offen gesagt:</strong>

<li>GoFundMe zieht eine Gebühr für die Zahlungsabwicklung von etwa 3 % ab. Davon abgesehen fließt jeder Euro in die oben aufgeführten Kosten.

<li>Sollten wir mehr als das Spendenziel erreichen, wird der Überschuss vollständig für Nellys weitere Entwicklung und die Umsetzung zukünftiger Projekte verwendet.

<li>Sollten wir das Spendenziel nicht vollständig erreichen, fließen die eingegangenen Spenden trotzdem vollständig in das Projekt. Den verbleibenden Betrag übernehmen wir selbst.
