Support Nekima Levy Armstrong’s Liberation Fund

For decades, Nekima Levy Armstrong has stood at the frontlines of the fight for racial justice, civil rights, and human dignity in Minnesota and across the country.

As an ordained reverend, civil rights attorney, mother and movement leader, Nekima has dedicated her life to defending communities impacted by systemic injustice. Her work has centered on accountability, constitutional protections, and the voices of families directly affected by state violence and discrimination.

Nekima’s leadership has included:

Advocating for law enforcement accountability and systemic reform through legal action and public advocacy

Supporting families and communities seeking justice and healing

Organizing peaceful demonstrations and civic engagement efforts

Serving as a trusted public voice on civil rights, racial equity, and constitutional freedoms

Using her legal training to defend marginalized and targeted communities

This work has never been about personal recognition or gain. It has always been about service, sacrifice, and standing firm in the face of injustice — even when that comes at great personal cost.

Why This Fundraiser Matters

Nekima is currently facing federal charges connected to her continued advocacy and protest leadership, which has created financial burdens and significant legal expenses.

This is not just about one person. It is about protecting the right to protest, defend communities, and challenge injustice without being silenced by financial pressure.

This Liberation Fund will support:

Legal defense expenses

Related court and case costs

Community and movement support needs during this period

Basic stability so Nekima can continue serving the public

How You Can Help

If Nekima’s work has ever:

Educated you

Inspired you

Protected your rights

Strengthened your community

Advanced justice in this country

Now is the time to stand with her.

Please donate if you are able. Every contribution — large or small — makes a real difference.

If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as powerful.
