Neil Erickson Bicycle Accident Fund

Donation protected
Neil was in a serious cycling accident that the doctors believe was caused by a hit and run accident on Saturday morning July 29, 2017 around 111th St and S 33rd W. Ave.  Neil was transported to St. Francis Hospital and is currently in ICU with injuries including:  6 staples in his head (thankfully he was wearing a helmet), and the following injuries on the left side of his body:  Broken shoulder, collar bone, all the ribs on the left side of his body, and a few fractures in the pelvic area.

Surgeons are reviewing the injuries to determine how to best care for Neil, but due to the number and severity of the injuries - there is no timeline for surgery.

As we can imagine, Neil will be out of work for an extended period of time and will have significant medical bills.  Neil also has an adult son who is disabled and requires outside help.  Neil's wife, Cindy, will need to be at the hospital, so they will need help for their son's care.  Thankfully the state has granted some emergency funding, but it will be short term.

We are asking for help for the family with these expenses - thank you for donating!

More important than anything any of us can donate - I know Cindy and the family requests your prayers.  Thanks to everyone for the outpouring of support they have received.
