Help me play basketball in Spain!

Hi everyone! My name is Alisa Benson and I am a freshman at Mount Ida College. I have just been nominated to be a representative for NCAA Division III basketball and travel to Spain from June 4th-13th through a program named Beyond Sports. It has always been my dream to travel to a different country to play basketball and now I have an opportunity to make this dream a reality. My goal is to try and raise $4,000 which will include: my flight, transportation, lodging, food, and other expenses. I have been playing basketball since I was four years old and I have a great passion for this sport. After seeing how fast my first semester went, I’d like to take advantage of every opportunity that I have to play basketball before my college career is over. In Spain, I will play four games and I will also help youth work on their basketball skills at a local clinic. I will travel to many amazing places in Spain that include: Madrid, Toledo, Valencia, Catalonia, and Montserrat. Basketball holds a special place in my heart and that passion will never go away.
