There are only two special education schools in Ethiopia.Joy foundation and NahmiyaSpecial Education center. Both were created by moms out of desperation to help their kids. Each school is only capable of serving around 40 kids. !!!!80 children!!!! Heartbreaking!!! And now one will be forced to close its doors displacing all students due to the fact the property is sold by the owner. The founder of Nehemiah is desperate to find ways to continue to assist those who are going to be out of school as well as maintain support groups that she started for families. I am moved by the situation and want to support her efforts. Please join me on Saturday September 29th for an afternoon tea in an effort to raise funds.
