The Love of my life Christie Spires

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. My wife (Christie Spires) was admitted into the hospital about a week and a half ago on the 22nd of February. Christie is the love of my life, the mother of our children, (our two youngest still at home) and my true soulmate. She has always been the one to hold our family together and tell us everything is going to be alright, she does what all mothers do and all good wives do and gives herself selflessly to others with no regards for her own needs. Back in September I asked my wife to help me take on the role as care taker of my elderly father, she agreed without hesitation. She has taken almost full responsibility of his needs anywhere from medicines to taking him places he wants to go. My father went from being almost bed-ridden, to walking with an assisted walker. Taking care of my father alone has already been a financial hardship because as with most seniors, their fixed income does not allow them their high priced medications. We also provided necessities at our home so that he could visit with his grandchildren.
Early Thursday morning (about 3:00 AM) I awoke to my wife flopping on the bed, holding her chest. After several minutes of me insisting I take her to the hospital, she convinced me that she was sure she had pulled her muscles or cracked her ribs and needn’t go to the hospital because we do not have insurance. By Sunday my wife called her personal doctor who told her he wanted a CT and an X-ray Monday morning, she was to go see him and get the order to have it done. Sunday afternoon we were in an emergency room.
On Sunday, we were told Pneumonia in the right lung, and my wife was put on high power antibiotics, and all was going to be fine.
On Tuesday, after seemingly getting worse, another X-ray and CT scan revealed a case of severe Pleurisy (liquid in the area between lugs and ribs)and the Pneumonia had spread to both lungs. I was told by the doctor that my wife was drowning from the inside out. Immediately the doctor scheduled a chest tube to be inserted as the fluid was collapsing her right lung.
The following day another CT and X-ray reveals the fluid is too thick to drain (I didn't understand ?? there is A LOT of gunk in the chest tube box) but now emergency surgery had to be performed. The doctors had to peel the infection off the outside of the lung and scrape the plural wall. As of right now, my wife lays in ICU and not only do I fear of losing my soul mate , mother to my children, the one that makes all things okay for our family, but now I have to fear of losing our home. I am self-employed and have been the financial provider for our family for over 15 years. Back in 2007, my wife and I decided that she would stay home to raise our family, and we have been extremely happy with our decision, even though we cannot afford health insurance. I am writing this and asking for any donations to help pay for these enormous medical bills. I know that everyone has hardships, and I would never ask if I honestly didn’t need it. All prayers are heard and we would love to be included with yours, and if prayer is all you can afford, I understand and thank you, however even the tiniest amount would be useful and greatly appreciated.
