<div>This is Richard, Neeyahs dad …I’m really bad at asking for help but here goes. My amazing girl Neeyah has, as many of you know, fought a courageous battle with mental health this last couple of years. What has blossomed out of this deep inner work she’s doing is her gift of music and making short films…as many of you have witnessed in my posts.

<div>All of her movies and music to date, have been written, composed and produced on an older MacBook laptop that our amazing friends Pete and Michelle refurbished and gave to her two years ago. Sadly it is fast approaching the end of life and often will crash right at the end of compiling a song or movie after waiting hours often. Neeyah really needs a new one which is totally beyond the reach of my or her budget. This is because we are also busy saving to get her set up into accomodation away from her home here in the valley where we currently live. She will move up near Sydney to attend the Wollongong High School for Creative Arts so she can really pour her energy into her music and drama gifts as she goes through year 11&amp;12.

<div>We would be so grateful for any donation small or large that you could make to get her a new MacBook 15” laptop. The fund raiser amount will cover the new machine and the software she currently uses on a trial basis to edit and produce her music.

<div>Neeyahs’ music and movies have been such a crucial part of her mental health recovery and it gives me such joy and pride to see her tireless work. Much of her work is addressing mental health awareness and life as an autistic person and reaches so many people in so many ways. She reluctantly let me post this after saying in her true humble way “fundraisers are for people who are really sick with cancer or need expensive operations or after losing everything in a disaster I don’t really feel I deserve to be helped for a laptop” bless her ♥️♥️ but I beg to differ, as her struggle is no more or less than anyone else’s.

<div>I would love to show her how deeply she AND her art is loved and appreciated by people who want a wonderful life for her just like I do. Your donations are far more than buying her a “thing” they are providing her the tools for her craft and healing.
