Forrest Garvin and Bruce Buttles have left their entrepreneurial & corporate careers to create NEED POINT, Inc. Bringing more than 60 years of combined experience in capital management, financial services, eBusiness, technology innovation, and volunteer service, Forrest and Bruce are committed to turning their talents to creating innovative ways for neighbors, churches, and local businesses to unite for a common good... helping neighbors in need.
Immediately, we need $49k to cover the costs to form the non-profit corporation, establish our board of directors & advisory council, finalize the business model and complete our proof-of-concept app & cloud platform.
Our plan has a PILOT launch with upto 10 church communities thee (3) months after we raise the $49k.

What if we could connect neighbors in need with those that can meet the need, easily and confidentially?
What if local churches were a tech-savvy conduit connecting neighbors in need with folks that can fill that need?
What if there was a simpl app that unites volunteers, churches, and businesses for a common good?
One thing's for sure, as we reach out to our neighbors at their point of need, we're better together.

So what's different about NEED POINT?
1) Needs are kept confidential via a simple & secure mobile app and website.
2) Not limited to financial needs - emotional, material, spiritual, and yes, financial; no need is too small.
3) Needs are verified through the NEED POINT network & trained personel.
4) The NEED POINT network includes proprietary accountability intelligence that helps organizations be aware of persons with frequent needs that may point to a deeper concern while preventing fraud.
5) The person in need can choose which local church(es) to have the need sent to - OR - shared with up to 3 churches in their area.
6) Churches are aware of family or community needs and can easily unite to serve their neighbors together.
7) A community website & app will list verified confidential needs giving neighbors & local businesses the opportunity to donate time, goods, or finances - AND - 100% goes to the neighbor in need.
