Need Help to pay for Our Father's Pedro's Funeral

This is the last thing we ever anticipated writing or thinking about. Our father, Pedro Vazquez, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 11th, and has left a massive hole in our family. He was a big member of our community, active and known by just about everyone. You couldn't go anywhere without someone recognizing him and stopping him for 30+ minutes of memories and conversation. That's just the type of person our father was -- kind, extroverted, well-liked, and easy to get along with. That's what makes his sudden passing even harder to accept or even comprehend.

The global pandemic has affected us all in different ways. For us, it took away our stability, our jobs, our savings, and now the head of our household. We are at a complete loss with how fast he deteriorated. Covid-19 affected him greatly and did not take its time, and it's that rushed process that makes grieving and moving forward even more difficult.

Our parents had been working on their paperwork for the future and had a good chunk of their documents handled, but because of the speed and unforeseen way the past week went, they were unable to finish before our father succumbed to the virus' aftermath. His pension and the documents that they were able to complete will take time to process as a result of the cause and the speed of decline. 

We could never pay you back, but would be eternally grateful for any help you can provide our family during this devastating time. Our father went from active and taking multiple walks a day, drinking multiple coffees a day and conversing with his neighbors, to gone in the matter of mere days and we are currently unable to come to terms with that along with the delay in any monetary assistance to allow him to rest in peace properly as he deserves. We can never thank you enough for your help, and are thankful for your love and support during this devastating time. Thank you.
