Need help to pay for my final year of college!

Hi everyone! My name is Manley Carter Jr. and I am from NYC. As of this fall, I will be attending my senior year at Bard College in Upstate NY, majoring in Bard’s Photography Program. However, I am currently facing a financial crisis that could potentially prohibit me from graduating next year. Unfortunately, my mother has lost her job at a non-profit organization due to cutbacks as a result of the pandemic. In addition, the large majority of summer internships I would have been able to apply to have been dried up, leaving me little to no opportunity for work. As a result we currently have my mothers unemployment aid as our only source of income, and my school has increased its Room and Board costs, leading the total cost of attendance to near $78k for the year. I have already applied for additional financial aid/additional loans but even with the aid that I’m expecting to receive, I will still be expected to pay potentially thousands of dollars a month, that of which will not be feasible for my mother to pay at this time. For the past three years, my mother has single-handedly struggled to cover the cost of my college expenses, as well as maintain our household. However, because we have fallen on hard times, this has become far more overwhelming. As a first-generation college student, to be the first in my family to graduate would mean the world to me, therefore I feel compelled to do this fundraiser. Any donation, no matter how much, would be immensely appreciated in helping me reach this milestone! All funds will be used to cover my attendance/tuition/graduation fees.
