Helping the Family We Choose

As many of you may know, my father has been fighting cancer for some time now and has recently taken a turn for the worse. It's been a struggle to be be present over the last year and a half while separated by many miles.

While it is a blessing for me to get to Florida so quickly to be by his side during this time, the last minute flight arrangements and need for an “open” return flight along with sleeping arrangements/travel expenses and such have put me in a challenging financial position.

Asking for help is never an easy thing (something I'm still practicing) but if you are able, please know that I am already grateful from the bottom of being. If you are not in a position to help financially, I continue to be unendingly grateful for your emotional and spiritual support.
