My beloved husband Karlos and I have been doing a lot of personal growth over the last year. Few of you know our story within our marriage, my personal journey with mental health (anxiety and depression), post partum with the birth of our son Kaide: who is the fruit of our life.
This past year I have learned so much and grown so much emotionally, spiritually, in relationships and so much more. I started with Self Help and self care by seeing a psychologist that led to a psychiatrist and finding a low dose of medicine to help during my lowest valley. That lead to more connections with people that were also struggling in overcoming similar battles within themselves.
Through Al- Anon & ACA I found help and comfort: I was able to share my story, cry and grow stronger mentally and emotionally.
That path led me to find a home in the rock church at city heights. I felt something there that inspired me to do something. Within 2 weeks I had signed up for the upcoming women's retreat in Murrieta Hot Springs August 2019 , I was blessed with a 1/2 scholarship. It was there I felt and receive the love of hundreds of women and felt God's presence. I was prayed for and with. I forgave my mom and my dad. I began to let people in. I started to love myself and I was saved, being baptized for the very 1st time in my life.
Since that day I've been walking a new path guided by the Lord and our relationship is growing stronger every day. With help from my community and family and friends. It sounds like a picture perfect life, the ones you see on Facebook and Instagram, but in reality the old self I was in the life I created is still lingering. My marriage, Financial stability, Building relationships, and self care are Still in need of repair. It has improved drastically: I have grown so much! Through faith, discipline, mentorship, counseling, financial guidance, budgeting, being disciplined, believing, having hope for the future. I have dreams again! Haven't felt that since I was a little girl. What a breath of fresh air!
What I need help with the most is staying aligned with my values.
Number one is God n
Number 2 is my husband and marriage Number 3 is advocating/support for Kaide Number 4 is my family
Number 5 are my friends
Number 6 is my business/job.
All of these depend on having a place to call home we have made huge strides financially. However, due to a change of ownership at my job we are experiencing a severe and unexpected slow period that started in July. Which is decreasing my commissioned wages. My husband (learned a new position to help) has had reduced hours. In addition to this change we have had to make major car repairs on both of our vehicles for safety the last 2 months. We are currently behind on our rent by 2 months and received a notice to vacate if rent isn't paid within 3 days which is tomorrow December 12. We owe $2688 plus a $100 in Late fees. I am swallowing my pride and seeking help.
I spoke with our rental office and was able to get an extension to pay/payment plan set up because of our situation and due to our perfect rental history of on time payments for the last 3 years.
