<div>Desde hace aproximadamente dos décadas, la enfermedad ha avanzado hasta dejarlo sin movilidad, lo que lo hace completamente dependiente de cuidados especializados y asistencia permanente.

<div>Hace dos semanas, Iván fue hospitalizado tras presentar un episodio de hematemesis (vómito con sangre). Los exámenes revelaron la presencia de várices en el tracto digestivo, las cuales estaban ulceradas y causaron una hemorragia.

<div>Adicionalmente, los médicos diagnosticaron cirrosis sistémica de origen autoinmune y compromiso del páncreas, lo que agrava su estado general y aumenta la necesidad de cuidados constantes.

<div>Actualmente, Iván requiere atención de enfermería las 24 horas del día, manejo clínico especializado y supervisión continua para garantizar su seguridad y calidad de vida. Aunque contaba con un servicio de cuidador permanente, este fue reducido recientemente a solo 12 horas, dejando un déficit crítico que debe cubrirse de manera privada.

In addition, doctors diagnosed him with systemic cirrhosis of autoimmune origin and pancreatic involvement, conditions that further worsen his overall health and increase the need for continuous care.
