About Jayden:
At 11 years old, Jayden makes it look easy. With a smile permanently on his face, he is the most charismatic sixth-grader we know. We just met him and we can already tell how loving and overall amazing he is. Despite his situation, Jayden manages to keep his head up and continuously has a positive outlook on the future. As well as being companionable, Jayden is one of the most intelligent sixth-graders we know. Meeting him was a wonderful experience for both of us, as Jayden taught us a few things.
Jayden’s Story:
When Jayden was 9 years old he first got diagnosed with Osteoporosis. What started in his bones went to his hip, which resulted in a hip replacement. After his hip replacement, the cancer spread to his lungs; Jayden stated there were 32 abnormal spots in his lungs. As well as the lungs, the cancer metastasized to his shoulder where he also had an operation. At the moment Jayden is mostly battling the cancer in his lungs and his right ankle. As of right now, there is nothing the doctors can do for his lungs, and he cannot bear weight on his right leg. To say Jayden is a fighter is an understatement.
About the Event:
To raise money, we put on a Hit, Pitch, and Run. The H.P.R. was a softball and baseball event for players within the NECC. For more info you can visit our website or our social media platforms:
