My Dad - Quite Possibly the Greatest Man on Earth
My dad, Bill Casper, is an amazing man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone who asked for it. He has been my biggest fan, my best friend, the best dad I could ever ask for, an phenomenal grandfather to my children and an invaluable friend to anyone who is lucky enough to know him. He served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam War and worked hard his entire life to take care of his two children. He loves Pepsi, vinyl records, hanging out with his friend Patty and his Xbox. He retired five years ago and is currently living on a fixed income.
So What Happened?
If you haven't heard, all of Nebraska, especially the Southeast, is experiencing the worst flooding ever seen in the state. This past weekend, he was hit hard with the flooding in Bellevue, NE. He was evacuated from his home in Paradise Lakes on Friday. As you can see from the photos, his entire neighborhood is underwater. Everything he has worked for his entire life is gone. As his daughter, I can only do so much being 1,500 miles away in Arizona. My dad has always gone above and beyond to help me during some very volatile times.

What Now?
He could really use your help! When he was evacuated from his home, he left with two sets of clothes, basic toiletries, two books and his cell phone. We are looking to raise whatever we can so he can at least get some new clothes and buy some supplies for when he can get back into his home. A new wardrobe can cost between $300-$500 when spending frugally, which he always does. Once he can get into his home, it will need to be dried out. It costs roughly $2,700 to dry out a home. Brian and I are doing what we can and will continue to help as much as possible, but we could really use the support of our family and friends. If you know us at all, you know how hard it is for us to reach out to you for help. We would be so grateful for any help for my amazing dad.
