N&E Pearce Texas Animal Rescue Trip

Dear friends and family,
We're going to Texas to save animals and need your help!!!
After following Austin Pets Alive! and SAFE K9 Transports for days on Facebook, admiring their continuous effort to rescue and care for animals left stranded in the wake of Hurricane Harvey and the catastrophic flooding... we have decided to go join them in their heroic efforts.
My amazingly supportive husband, Nick Pearce, and I have decided to spend this labor day weekend working hand in hand with these amazing rescue organizations assisting in anyway we can.
These organizations have called out for help and we heard them. They need people on the ground in Katy, TX to transport animals to safety at a temporary shelter they have set up in Austin and that's what we're going to do!
There is so much to be done, and now is the time to act.
We will be filling our car to top with necessary supplies and plan to drive straight to Katy, TX first thing tomorrow morning.
We need your support in order to travel there safely and cross the many hurdles we will face upon our arrival. We know it's going be tough... but really ready to go in full force to help turn this tragic situation around.
Please help us get out there and support us as we do everything we can to help these victims and their families. There's no doubt that this mission will take a tremendous amount of time, effort, and funding so any financial support you can provide us will be greatly appreciated!
Please stay tuned and check facebook for more updates as we continue to move forward in our Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts.
All of your generous donations will go directly to supporting our rescue efforts... we will be purchasing much needed supplies such as clean water, crates, food, and bowls and bringing them to those in need ASAP!
We will also go through tank after tank of gas to keep our car moving between Beaumont/Katy/Austin to safely move animals to where they need to go.
