Short Horror Film

Hi, my name is Huw Lloyd. I’m the host and creator of The Undead Wookie Podcast. As a life long horror fan I have always dreamed of shooting a horror film. I was fortunate enough to be able to create my own Zombie short some years ago. The one thing that I took from that project was that it allowed a number of people within my local community to get involved and take part in a project that they normally wouldn’t have the chance to.
Now I’m planning to shoot another short film some time in the summer of 2019. Once again I would like to involve my local community. My aim is to cast it from local talent alongside professional actors who will be donating their time for free. As well looking for local talent to work in front of of the camera, I will also be looking for local people to get involved with work behind the scenes including design and makeup effects.
The funds will will be used to pay for equipment hire; including camera, lighting and sound, costumes, makeup, props, special effects, venue hire and catering.
Plot: In the great tradition of the 80’s slasher, a young school teacher is trapped in her school by unseen assailants who terrorise her and her colleagues.
Ideally, I would like this project funded before shooting commences in July 2019.
To to be able to get this project up and running would allow me to share my passion for film and horror and provide individuals with an opportunity to work on a grassroots funded project. As a sign of my appreciation, all those involved will be given a IMDb credit and for everyone who donates, I will give them a personal shoutout and thank you on my podcast ‘The Undead Wookie’.
