*Helping Milo Recover*
The last few weeks have been unbelievably difficult for our dearest Mam Jam (Jen). If you know Jen, you know how much she loves our community and our children. She has been caring after all of our children for years, with love and undeniable compassion, always putting their best interest first and foremost. She needs us to be there for her now so that she can focus all of her time and energy on helping her son Milo heal through this difficult time.
Over the weekend, Jens son Milo was in a very serious car accident. The results of his injury are amongst some of the worst things a parent could hear. Milo has serious Brain Trauma and will undergo possibly numerous surgeries moving forward. First surgery on his brain is complete. Now she will sit by him and wait for results to establish what they will do next. He will also need to have facial reconstruction at some point. There is no “better” time for someone to find out such horrific news, but this comes at a time where Jen has already been struggling. As many of us already know, just weeks ago, a massive tree fell across her driveway and totaled all of her vehicles! So she is without a car as well!
We would love to see her community and friends who she calls family come together to help her out. Milo is currently at UCDavis which is miles from home so commuting and leaving his side right now is not an option. As any parent does, Jen deserves to be able to be by Milos side for as long as it takes, Without worry and without added stress of having to get to work to make ends meet.
Thank you for reading this, helping financially, sharing the post, sending prayers and all other forms of support given to Milo and his family
