Hello Friends & Family,
With the permission of our sweet Brandi Gale Varner, I am giving an update. Brandi had her body scan on Monday (April 23rd), and the results showed that both of her lungs are inflamed, BUT that is just a minor setback and side effect of the chemo because God is in charge. The treatments are reducing the cancer, but the chemo has taken a toll on Brandi. Right now the doctors are unsure how many more rounds of chemo Brandi will need. Brandi spends 3-4 days a week at St. Luke’s and MD Anderson getting her care. All of her time is spent fighting this horrible cancer. Through all this Brandi does not complain; she is AMAZING beyond words! She and Jason have had to rely heavily on others to help with their children, but they have gracefully accepted this help, which has been an honor. She continues to be a fighter who remains positive, spunky, and STRONG in her Christian faith! Because Brandi will not be returning to work any time soon, we are ramping back up the Go Fund Me. Thanks again for everything, and though we don’t have the pleasure of knowing all of you we love you for loving our Brandi and her family. We also recognize the fact that you all have your own life battles and led very busy lives which makes us appreciate and love you all the more for your kindness.
