Please could you help with my fundraising challenge? I'm walking a total of 60 miles over a series of hikes with my daughter in her backpack, raising money in aid of The Butterfly and Phoenix Project, N-COMPASS TOWARDS A BRIGHTER FUTURE LIMITED. Every donation will help. Hikes across wonderful Lancashire - majority in between the school run and to be completed by Christmas! The walks will offer lots of different terrain and scenery. Speaking to another Mum I know who is a counsellor at THE BUTTERFLY AND PHOENIX PROJECT, she says the number of children and young people contacting them during this coronavirus pandemic has increased massively.  Pressures even before the pandemic have been amplified. They face anxieties and everyday struggles - and need care and professional help. Routines changed, no school, sport stopping, no real contact with family and friends. Counsellors based in the county help with self harming and self destructive thoughts.
