NCS Team 2 - Headway

We are Team 2 from NCS, and have chosen Headway as our charity to fundraise for.

Headway is a UK-wide charity that helps to improve life after brain injury, by providing vital support and information services. They have a emergency fund for immediate support after brain injury, and an easily accessible helpline.

We think Headway are important as they provide communities with information which is not widely known, but could be life-saving, and believe it is crucial to spread awareness of their services.

On Wednesday (10/8/22) our group of 19 will cycle laps around the cricket pitch in Poole Park in small groups, three lap is one mile and we will see how many laps we can complete over six hours.

On Thursday (11/8/22) we hope to raise money and spread awareness by giving cakes in exchange for donations, and setting up a rock-painting stall, both of which will be taking place from 9 until 5 in the Dolphin Centre, Poole.

On Friday (12/8/22), everyone on our NCS wave will take part in a litter pick in Poole Park.
